Egg Bacon Biscuit

Why go to McDonald's when you can make this at home and its so Yummy and a lot cheaper.  While you are making it make some for the freezer.  you can make 8 for what it would cost you to buy two.


Recipe for Biscuit

2 cups of flour  I have been using the self rise kind
6 Tablespoon Butter
1 cup buttermilk
I ad a little sugar but you do have to

Put flour into the  bowl and mix the butter in tell it looks a little like corn meal add the milk and mix turn out
on a board and roll out and cut makes about 8   Bake at 400 for about 10 - 12 min.
then fry an egg and bacon I put two half pieces on each one and a half slice american cheese.

I came across this bargain a while ago and its one of the best buys.  Its Members Mark Terry Towels  you can get them at Sams Club or Amazon that I know about.  You can use them for so many things to cleaning  your house to drying dishes.   you can use them over and over again.   Just wash them up they last forever..  Saves you a lot of money

Easy Banana Pie

Banana Pie

I found a pie crust at the store its Granola its like a graham cracker one only better. I baked it for 5 min.  let it cool then I used one package of coconut instant pudding  1- 3/4 cup milk and put it in the pie first I put banana on the bottom and after I put the pudding in I put bananas on the top then I put cool whip on top.   Put in Refrigerator for about 2 to 3 Hours  Make a very good and fast dessert.

Golden Puffs

I was going though an old Betty Crocker Cook Book that's over 50 years old and I found this TNT recipe.  It is really good I don't know if its in the newer book but its worth it to make they are easy and alway good I dipped them in Sugar and Cinnamon  But you could dip them in Chocolate or frosting.

Golden Puffs
2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp nutmeg or mace
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup milk
1 egg

Measure flour blend dry ingredients.  Add oil,milk,egg.  Mix well.  Drop by teaspoon into oil.  375.  Fry about 3 mins or until golden.  Drain.  Roll warm puffs in cinnamon-sugar or glaze.

Stir Fry

Stir Fry

One of the things I like to make the most you can change it with a lot of different vegetables what ever you have in the house.  With this one I put the following in.
1 large onion
5 or 6 ribs of celery cut in 1/2 inch pieces
1 bell pepper  cut in about 1/2 to one inch pieces
1/2 head of small cabbage
3 carrot pealed and cut in about 1/2 inch  pieces

Put oil in pan put onions,celery, and carrots in first it takes longer to cook them.   And then add the cabbage and bell peppers  Then add Kikkoman Stir Fry sauce  I put about 3/4 of a bottle in  with about a fourth to half cup water I add Sambal Oelek chili paste to taste and soy sauce to taste.  cook tell still crunchy Serve with rice I used brown  I use mushrooms and kale a lot in stir fry.

Pot Pie

Pot Pies 

This is a very good thing to do with left overs with pot roast or soups Chicken or Beef you can turn it into a pot pie so easy.

I used biscuits here but you can use pie crust or puff pastry.

take and soup and heat it  take some corn starch and make the soup a little thick put in and oven save dish and cover with any of the following  Biscuits,pie crust, puff pastry  Put in the over at about 375 cook tell the crust is done about 15 to 20 min.  

Fry Sauce

This is a really good sauce it has a little kick.

1 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 cup Ketchup    
1 Tablespoon of Deli Horseradish Sauce I use beaver brand
1 teaspoon of Sambal Oelek Chili Paste
  
Mix all together and taste you might want and little more or less of everything to your taste.
