Beat together 1 1/3 cup salad oil 2 cups of sugar. Beat in 3 eggs and 3 cups chopped whole apples. Sift together and stir in 3 cup of flour 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 tsp. cloves 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1 tsp cinnamon stir in 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup raisins (rinsed in hot water) then dust in flour. can use nuts also. Bake in greased and floured pan for 1 hr in 350 oven. Cool in pan about 1 1/2 then turn out can also use a tube pan. I like it in a tube pan.
What a beautiful and delicious looking cake. I like that it has 3 apples in it. Apples, nutmeg, cinnamon and raisins-YUMMY!!
